I wrote that blog because I am shy and often uncomfortable in talking to men who I am attracted to – and even more so am often crippled by such extreme shyness and “approach anxiety” that I can’t speak to shop assistants, strangers or distant acquaintances.
When I began working in the pick up community I knew that I would have to put an end to this shyness as I could never train students if I couldn’t even make eye contact with him.
There’s an art to being charismatic, which is why I’m super excited to welcome Jordan Harbinger from The Art of Charm and The Art of Charm Podcast to the show today.
He’s got an incredibly successful business teaching people how to be confident and put their best self forward, and he shares a TON of tips and strategies for us to help us do the same.
Build as many real relationships as you can – with people in your target audience, and people in and around your niche. In several of the previous interviews here on the podcast (like Session #51 with Tim Ferriss), the person being interviewed contributes a ton of their success to the people who they’ve reached out to and built real relationships with. I would not be where I’m at today if it weren’t for the other people in my life – many who I became friends with and gotten to know online, but also in-person.
When Tim launched his first book, it skyrocketed to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list because of all of the real connections he made with other bloggers and influencers leading up to the launch.
It explores many different areas, such as: Does it seem like you keep dating the same person over and over again?
Can a "friends with benefits" scenario eventually lead to love?
The odd thing is, I’m an actress and a dancer, and on stage I can be the loudest, most confident and have the least inhibitions out of everyone I know.
